GPU Mining Heavycoin (HVC) Thriving, Price is Still High
Now, more than a day since the release of a GPU miner for AMD graphics for mining the previously announced spil CPU only crypto Heavycoin (HVC) is available, remarkably the price of the crypto is still at high levels. The release of GPU miner already made the mining of the coin with CPU pointless, and the coin is already not so lightly mineable with GPUs with the network hashrate already pretty high. Mining HVC with AMD GPUs however may be worthwhile for some more time if you have some AMD Radeon cards to spare if the exchange rate does not commence to druppel. Wij still toevluchthaven’t gotten a release of a HVC miner for Nvidia that uses CUDA, but the author of CudaMiner is working on such software. The rente ter Heavycoin is still fairly high and you should not be dismissing it so lightly.

GPU Miner for Heavycoin is Possible and is Being Worked On
Heavycoin (HVC) is a recently launched crypto coin that can be mined only with the CPU, but evidently it is not unlikely for a GPU miner to be created for it spil well like with many other coins that began spil CPU mining only. The key of the coin being “CPU only” is the use of numerous crypto algorithms – SHA-256, Keccak-512, Groestl-512, BLAKE-512. But if you port all of them on the GPU you can achieve considerable speedup than what is possible with the CPU only mining, however for the uur there is no GPU miner available for HVC. The author of CudaMiner has reported some success already, note what he has posted ter the bitcointalk forum about his work on a GPU miner for HVC (not CudaMiner, but a separate project):
wij’ve accelerated Four out of Five hashing algos for HVC, but the last one (Groestl) is causing us a bit of trouble. Our very first port is actually slower than the CPU – at least on my system.
Running Groestl on CPU and the surplus on GPU I am getting an 800% show boost vs. running the CPU alone.
Numerous CPU threads can even share a GPU ,)
Note that overall HVC is *not* CPU-only. They indeed need to switch their advertising, and switch it quickly. Whatever they did to SHA256 to turn it into a “GPU and ASIC resistant” HEFTY1 algorithm – it didn’t work spil they intended.

Heavycoin (HVC) HEFTY1 based cryptocoin
Heavycoin (HVC) is a HEFTY1 CPU-only Ultra-secure fresh crypto currency with decentralized block prize voting. Get ready to mine, mining starts on March 8th 12:00 UTC! Heavycoin has the potential to achieve massive adoption and become a wide-reaching crypto-currency. With a strong community behind it, Heavycoin could even challenge Litecoin for position number two next to Bitcoin. With this ter mind, the Heavycoin launch is taking place ter numerous stages to encourage a diverse bod of early adopters and stakeholders. Heavycoin will also leverage numerous launch strategies for maximum influence.
Heavycoin mining will open up a fresh dynamic because of decentralized block prize voting. Miners who are greedy and have little stake could vote for the maximum block prize of 1024. However, this will increase the supply of Heavycoin and decrease their profits. Other miners, who are not greedy, or who already have a sufficient stake, might vote for a lower block prize – even zero – te order to decrease the supply and to slow the minting rate. Either way, this is going to be interesting!
Intially Heavycoin starts with a zero block prize. The very very first miners will have the very first chance to solve blocks and vote on what the very first democratically selected block prize should be. The very first 100 blocks (Three.Three hours) will determine the kicking off block prize. From then on, block prize voting will proceed, but the votes are counted and averaged every 3600 blocks (Five days).
Heavycoin is configured to mine and vote by default, with a default vote of 512 HVC. If you want to switch your block prize vote then see “How to vote” section of our webstek. Otherwise, to disable voting then see “How to mine”. When mining is enabled, every time you mine a block your wallet will automatically personages a block prize vote. The Heavycoin network automatically averages thesis votes every Five days (3600 blocks) and sets the fresh block prize accordingly. The block prize is the average of all 3600 votes overheen the previous voting period rounded to the nearest oprecht.
